Meeting precedes CWC meeting set to commence on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of office bearers and former office bearers today.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at his residence in Dhumbarahi on Monday at 3 pm.

Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel confirmed that the meeting of the office bearers and ex-officers was scheduled for Monday afternoon.

This meeting will precede the Central Working Committee meeting, set to commence on Tuesday.

In preparation for the central committee meeting, Deuba plans to hold discussions with both the current office bearers and ex-officers.

It is a customary practice in Congress to engage in such discussions before the Central Committee meeting.

The Congress Central Committee meeting is a significant event, taking place after a year, on July 18 at 1 pm, at the party’s Central Office in Sanepa.

The agenda for the central committee meeting includes discussions on policy conventions and the nationwide organization strengthening campaign.
