19 injured in Dasdhunga bus accident



MUGLIN: A bus accident at Dasdhunga along the Narayanghat-Muglin road section early this morning has left 19 people injured.

The incident occurred at 5:20 AM when the bus (registered as Bagmati Province 01-006 Kha 5237) was en route to Kathmandu from Kakarbhitta, Jhapa, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bijay Raj Pandit.

The bus, carrying approximately 40 passengers, lost control and plunged 10 meters off the road, police said.

Presently, 18 injured individuals are receiving medical treatment in various hospitals in Chitwan district, while one person has been referred to Kathmandu for further treatment.
