HoR meeting postponed till Monday



KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives has been postponed till Monday, July 10.

Issuing a notice on Sunday afternoon, General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Dr. Bharat Raj Gautam informed that the meeting scheduled for 3 pm today has been postponed due to special reasons.

Earlier, the meeting scheduled for 1:00 PM was moved by Speaker Devraj Ghimire to 3:00 PM at the request of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

The Prime Minister was scheduled to address the main opposition party’s concern about the controversial remarks he (PM Dahal) made about Indian influence in Nepali politics. However, the meeting was adjourned without sitting.

The next meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for 3 pm tomorrow.
