KATHMANDU: Rudil Ballav Shrestha, another owner of Night Club LOD (Lords of Drinks) in Kathmandu’s Thamel, has also been arrested on the charge of allowing minors to enter the Club.

It may be noted that a 16-year-old girl (minor), who was allowed to enter the LOD, was raped in Lalitpur.

Shrestha was arrested from Kupandol this Friday morning, said SSP Siddhi Bikram Shah of District Police Circle, Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, police have already arrested Raju Singh Suwal, one of the Directors of LOD (Lord of Drinks) on Thursday.

It is important to note that on June 14, a 16-year-old girl, who had visited LOD on June 13, was taken from the club to Lalitpur where she was raped.

Sudan Bahadur Koirala has already been arrested by the police in connection with the rape case involving the minor at LOD (Lord of Drinks) Club in Thamel.

According to the victim’s statement to the police, she was raped in Bagdol on the morning of June 14.

After receiving the complaint, the police arrested Koirala and initiated an investigation.

During the investigation, Koirala claimed that the victim was not a minor, as LOD does not permit minors inside the club.
