Artist Saruk Tamrakar found dead at his home in Ratopul



KATHMANDU: Artist Saruk Tamrakar has been found dead at his house in Kathmandu’s Ratopul.

He was found dead last night at his house, SP Sitaram Rizal, spokesperson of District Police Circle, Kathmandu, stated.

The family informed the police after the 31-year-old Tamrakar was found dead hanging from the railing of the staircase of the house with a plastic pipe noose.

The body has been taken to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for post-mortem.

Saruk is the son of artist Sanu Tamrakar.

Saruk has acted in movies like “Intu Mintu London”, among others.
