3 detainees escape from Bhainsepati police custody

KATHMANDU: Three detainees have escaped from police custody of Bhainsepati Police Post by breaking the window, said SSP Shyam Gyawali of Metropolitan Police Office, Ranipokhari.

Talking to Khabarhub, Gyawali said, “Three detainees have absconded. I am heading to the office. I will inform you once I reach the office.”

A huge number of security personnel have fanned out to search the fugitives following the incident, said police.

Among those fugitives, two were detained on robbery charges while the other was on the charge of illegal drug. They were taken to Bhainsepati from Jawalakhel.

Police have not revealed their identifies yet.
