Chief Justice Karki to take oath of office and secrecy today

KATHMANDU: Acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki, who was approved by the hearing committee, has been appointed as the Chief Justice on Friday.

After the completion of the parliamentary hearing and the approval of the recommendation of the Constitutional Council, President Ramchandra Paudel appointed him as the Chief Justice.

The President’s Office has scheduled Karki’s swearing-in ceremony at half past five on Friday.

According to Supreme Court sources, after taking the oath, Karki will reach the Supreme Court and take office as the Chief Justice this evening.
