NEPSE rises by 34 points on Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Market (NEPSE) stock market increased by 34 points double digits on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

The stock market index increased by 34.17 points to 2020.64 points today.

While the shares of all the groups increased, the shares of the insurance, hotel, and business groups increased remarkably.

Along with the market, the transaction amount has also improved a lot. The daily transaction which was 2.88 billion rupees on Monday exceeded 4.12 billion today. 18 million shares of 270 companies were traded at 4.12 billion rupees on Tuesday.

The Shivam Cement had the highest transaction worth Rs 276 million rupees.

The shares of Win Nepal Microfinance, Bulung Energy Development Company, and City Hotel increased by 10 percent.

The Uniliver Nepal Company witnessed a decrease of more than three percent in the market which had gone almost green.
