Heatwave to persist for few more days: WFD
The central and western Terai areas, which have been enduring relentless heat, are expected to see consistent temperatures for the next few days. According to the Weather Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the Terai region is not expected to receive any rainfall in the near future, indicating that the hot weather will persist for the next couple of days.
Many schools closed owing to scorching heat
Palungtar Municipality of Gorkha district has decided to close all schools in the municipality due to excessive heat. The Municipality took the decision to close 53 schools for three days starting from Sunday after students started feeling unconformable following the rising temperature, said Mayor Bibas Chintan.

Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh of India, Jagdambika Pal, stated that Nepal could attract Indian tourists devising necessary plans and programs. Nepal has won the case filed by Axiata Group Berhad, the parent company of Ncell, in the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) against the Government of Nepal regarding the tax dispute in Nepal.
