Nepal sees four new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 18

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of four new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

Out of the confirmed cases, one was detected through the RT-PCR method and three through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 945 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 135 were tested through RT-PCR method and 810 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 18 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
