KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Koshi Province Assembly is taking place at 1.00 pm today.
On Wednesday, Chief Minister Hikmat Bahadur Karki presented the principles and priorities of the budget for the fiscal year 2080/81 on behalf of the Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning.
The proposal has come up with several measures to increase economic growth, spur production and productivity, develop human capital and generate employment opportunities in the province.
The province, according to the annual policy, has put forth a proposal to contribute to materializing the long-term vision of developing Koshi as a prosperous province with happy people.
