Mother and son die falling off cliff in Dhading

DHADING: A woman and her son died after falling off a cliff in Dhading.

Police have identified the deceased as 19-year-old Apsara Chepang of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-2 and her two-year son Sajan.

Chief of the District Police Office, Dhading, Superintendent Gautam Mishra said Apsara who was carrying her son on her back and gone to the forest near her home to collect grass fell off the cliff. The incident took place on Monday.

Critically injured in the incident both the mother and son died in the course of treatment at Malekhu Teaching Hospital, said police.
