Nepal sees 14 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 33



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 14 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

Out of the confirmed cases, two were detected through the RT-PCR method and 12 through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1045 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 85 were tested through RT-PCR method and 960 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 33 active cases in the country as four infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
