‘Nirphool’ to be released on June 9



KATHMANDU: “Nirphool”, a movie by director Phoolman Wal is being released finally, five years after the completion of its production.

Dayahang Rai, Rekha Thapa, Shanti Waiba, Buddhi Tamang, Pushkar Gurung, Rajan Khatiwada, among others, are the lead characters in the film, which is based on the story of a family separated due to the earthquake.

Director Wal shared that the film, which tells the story of rebuilding broken hearts and relationships, took time to be screened due to various reasons, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I have always wanted to act in films that live on and this is one such movie “, actor Rai said, “The film tells the story of our society while also showcasing the beauty of Nepal.”

The film has been reportedly shot in Rubi Valley and Kathmandu. Sachin Ghimire is the associate director of the movie, the cinematography is by Pramod Karki, Nimesh Shrestha is the editor and the music is by Arjun Pokharel and Chandra Kumar Dong.

It will come into theatres on coming June 9.
