Transportation fare decreases in Bagmati Province



KATHMANDU: The Bagmati State government has announced a reduction in the fare for public vehicles operating within the state.

The Bagmati State government reduced the fare for public vehicles operating within the state in accordance with the provision that fares should be adjusted based on changes in fuel prices.

The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Transport of Bagmati province decided to reduce the fare and sent it to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for publication in the Gazette.

The new fare will be applicable after publication in the Gazette.

The new fare of public vehicles operating within Kathmandu Valley has decreased by 5.9 percent.

Similarly, the fare rate of public vehicles operating outside the Kathmandu Valley and within the province has decreased by 4.18 percent.
