Fake refugee case: Five different cases registered with claim worth Rs 288.4 million

The District Public Prosecutor’s Office Kathmandu has registered a case in the district court in the case of Fake Bhutanese Refugees. According to Lakshman Upadhyay, the spokesperson of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Kathmandu, a total of 30 people, including 16 arrested and 14 absconding were registered as defendants in the District Court of Kathmandu late on Wednesday.

Rabi Lamichhane demands formation of parliamentary special committee to investigate Bhutanese refugee scam

Parliamentarian and Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane has demanded the formation of a parliamentary special committee to investigate the fake Bhutanese refugee scam. Speaking during today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Lamichhane said that the Parliament should form a special committee to investigate the case.

Priority for provinces lagging behind in HDI: PM Dahal

NAC to operate flights to Sydney from June 21

The national flag carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation, has secured slots at Sydney Airport of Australia. Sydney Airport has given permission and slots to NAC for two flights in a week—Thursday and Saturday. After receiving the permission for the flights from Sydney Airport, the NAC submitted the necessary document for flight permission with Australian Civil Aviation Authority.
