Rhino attack kills one in Chitwan



CHITWAN: A person died when a rhino attacked him in Chitwan district this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Jhalak Raj Poudel, 60, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-17, according to the District Police Office.

The rhino had attacked Poudel when he was working at his house and he died in course of treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.

Similarly, a local Tankanath Regmi, 57, was injured in rhino attack. Minor injured Regmi has already returned home after treatment, said police.
