Govt decides to declare Mukesh Kayastha a martyr



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to declare Mukesh Kayastha a martyr.

Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma said that the decision was taken at the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday.

He died last Wednesday at the age of 33.

Kayastha is a victim of the mass movement of 2062/63 BS.

Kayastha was 15 years old when he was injured in the mass movement and was bedridden.
