Former Home Minister Khand’s statement on the sixth day of his arrest



KATHMANDU: Public prosecutor’s office has started taking the statements of former Home Minister Balkrishna Khand on the sixth day of his arrest in the fake Bhutanese refugee case.

Khand was brought to the public prosecutor’s office for the statement on Monday afternoon.
District Attorney Lakshman Ghimire informed that his (Khand’s) statement has already started.

In the public prosecutor’s office, the investigating officer of the police is interrogating Khand and taking his statement.

Ghimire said that even if the police inquires, the public prosecutor can also ask Khand more if necessary.
