No impact of Cyclone Mocha in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Cyclone Mocha developing in the Bay of Bengal will not have any significant impact on Nepal, according to the Weather forecasting division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

The cyclone is currently moving towards the northeast direction and is rising up in the coastal areas of Bangladesh and Myanmar.

Meanwhile, the weather is generally clear in the country today, with partial clouds in the hilly areas of the country.

In the afternoon, there is a chance of light or temporary rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
