KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 136 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.
Of the confirmed cases, 92 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 44 through the Antigen method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1591 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Of them, 1,019 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 572 through the Antigen method.
Currently, there are 390 active cases in the country as 64 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,027 to date.
