Domestic flights resume after an hour’s disruption at TIA

KATHMANDU: Domestic flights at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) have resumed after nearly one hour’s disturbance on Sunday afternoon.

The flight and landing have been stopped due to a problem with the connection between the planes and the airport. However, there was no problem with international flights.

According to Teknath Sitaula, the spokesperson of Tribhuvan Airport, the flights had to be closed for about an hour due to a communication problem with domestic flights.

“We stopped domestic flights for about 50 minutes. Domestic flights have resumed now. There was no problem with the international flight. There was a communication problem only on the domestic flight,” he said.

The flights were disturbed from around 2.30 pm.
