Nepal sees 108 coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 386



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 108 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 55 were tested through the RT-PCR method and  53 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,450 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 778 swabs were tested through the RT-PCR method and 1,672 through the Antigen method.

There are 386 active cases in Nepal as 66 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,025 to date.
