KATHMANDU: Former Nepali Congress leader Govindaraj Joshi expressed his commitment to support Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Dr. Swarnim Wagle in the April 23 by-elections in Tanahun Constituency-1.

Joshi made this commitment during talks held with RSP leaders in Kathmandu.

The RSP leaders held talks with Joshi, who is also a former Home Minister after his talks with Nepali Congress did not reach an agreement.

RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, Tanahun-1 candidate Wagle, and other leaders participated in the talks today.

From Joshi’s side, his son Deepakraj Joshi accompanied him.

A leader who participated in the talks said Joshi expressed his commitment to support Swarnim Wagle in the Tanahu by-election.
