UML looking for pretext to dissolve Parliament: Madhav Nepal

KATHMANDU: Chairman of Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the CPN-UML is looking for a reason to dissolve the Parliament.

Speaking at a program in Sunsari on Wednesday, Chairman Nepal stated that UML is looking for a reason to dissolve the Parliament and go to the mid-term elections.

“However, UML’s desire will not be fulfilled,” he said adding “We cannot support the violation of the Constitution.”

Nepal said even though his party was prepared to hold talks and discussions with like-minded leaders on the possibility of unity with UML, there cannot be any possibility of such unity with CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
