KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Football Club defeated Jawalakhel Youth Club in the eighth round of the Shahid Smarak A Division League. Army defeated Jawalakhel with a 3-1 goal difference.
Army’s Gillespye Jung Karki, Navyug Shrestha, and Sudil Rai scored one goal each and Sunil Khadka scored the consolation goal for Jawalakhel in the match played at ANFA Complex Satdobato.
The Army took the lead in the 17th minute of the game. Gillespye Jung Karki scored for him.
Army took a one-goal lead in the first half and scored two more goals in the second half.
Army doubled the lead in the 55th minute of the game. Army doubled the lead with Navayug Shrestha’s goal.
In the 62nd minute of the game, Javalakhel scored a goal and indicated that they would return to the game. Sunil Khadka scored for Jawalakhel.
Sudil Rai’s goal in the 80th minute of the game increased the lead to 3-1.
