Price of petroleum products down by almost Rs 10 effective Monday midnight

Petrol to cost Rs 175 per liter, diesel and kerosene Rs 165 per liter



KATHMANDU: The government has decreased the prices of diesel, petrol and kerosene by almost Rs 10 per liter.

A meeting of Board of Directors of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) chaired by Commerce Secretary Dr. Ganesh Prasad Pandey decided to decrease the price of diesel, kerosene and both types of aviation fuel by Rs 10 per liter and petrol by Rs 3 per liter .

With this price adjustment, a liter of petrol will cost Rs 175 and the diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 165 per liter. The price of cooking gas has been fixed at Rs 1,800 per cylinder.

NOC Spokesperson Binit Mani Upadhyaya said the meeting of NOC board of directors has decided to decrease the price with effect from Monday night.
