Nepal gets 2-0 lead against Laos, Ananta, Navayug score for Nepal



KATHMANDU: Nepal has taken the lead in the match against Laos at the Prime Minister’s Cup Tri-National Football Tournament undergoing in Dasharath Stadium, Kathmandu.

In the 31st minute, Anant Tamang scored from Naveen Lama’s corner with a brilliant header from the goal line.

Likewise, Navayug Shrestha has added a goal to make it 2-0 against Laos. Shrestha scored in the 56th minute.

Sanis Shrestha has made his debut on the Nepali national team today.

Sanis, who has been playing professional football for the APF Club of the Armed Police, got a chance to debut in the first match after joining the national team.
