10-party ruling coalition meeting underway in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: The 10-party ruling coalition meeting is underway in Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’s official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

According to Baluwatar sources, the meeting is discussing on the agenda of presidential election and vote of confidence among others.

There are two vice-presidential candidates from the ruling coalition.

Janata Samajbadi Party leader Ram Sahaya Yadav and Janamat Party leader Mamata Jha have filed nomination for the post of Vice-President.

The vice presidential election is scheduled for March 17 and Prime Minister Dahal has made preparations to take vote of confidence on March 20.
