KATHMANDU: Nepal Workers and Peasants (NWPP) has decided not to participate in the presidential election being held today (Thursday).

A meeting of the party held on Thursday decided not to participate in the election.

The party has one MP in the House of Representatives and 3 MPs in the Provincial Assembly.

Earlier, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) also decided not to participate in the election.
