RPP to remain neutral in today’s presidential election



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is not casting vote in the presidential election taking place today.

A meeting of the Central Work Execution Committee of the party held on Wednesday decided to remain neutral in the election.

RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha said the party decided not to participate in voting process and to remain neutral in the presidential election.

The party made this decision as per the sentiment of cadres, well-wishers and people, he added.

Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel and CPN (UML) Vice-Chairperson Subash Chandra Nembang are contesting in the election.
