Drinking water project handed over in Bethanchowk



KAVRE: Bhangyanjkharka Drinking Water Project has been handed over to the local community at Siurani of Bethanchowk rural municipality in Kavrepalanchowk district recently.

The drinking water project has directly benefitted 1,337 people of 223 households, shared Bhagwan Adhikari, Chairperson of Bethanchowk rural municipality.

The drinking water project was initiated last September in the technical assistance of Nepal Water for Health (NEWAH) at the cost of over Rs 19 million.

The local level administration, the Rotary Club Bouddha, among others contributed in cash for the project which also received volunteer labor from the locals, informed Adhikari.
