UML got attacked from all sides despite trying good: KP Oli

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli said that despite trying to do good, his party is being attacked from all sides.

Speaking at the UML-affiliated intellectual organization’s central committee meeting on Saturday, Oli commented stated it as unfortunate for the country that UML had been the center of attacks from all sides despite trying to do good.

He urged the intellectuals to be aware of the misleading information and also requested to play a constructive role in sensitizing people against the fraudulent news.

“Using all their potential in writing, speaking, seminars, meetings, and conferences, the intellectuals of the UML should make the people free from confusion,” chairman Oli said, adding, “Unfortunately for the country, when a party like UML tries to do good, it gets attacked from all sides. This is the reality.”

He pointed out that the opposing forces of social change and transformation and the forces entangled in their selfish interests have been successful in capturing power even now.
