Military Court dismisses NA Major General Shahi

KATHMANDU: Prem Shahi, a senior officer of the Nepali Army, has been dismissed from service.

The military court of the Nepali Army found Major General Shahi guilty of conduct contrary to financial discipline and sentenced him to dismissal from service.

After the court of inquiry, the Army Headquarters formed a military court under the chairmanship of Taradhwaj Pandey.

According to the military headquarters, action has been taken against other generals – Mahendra Jung Shah and Major General Kuldeep Timsina — who were involved in this case.
