KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Ramchandra Paudel has registered his nomination for the presidency.
NC senior leader Paudel reached the election officer’s office in Baneshwar and registered his candidacy on Saturday afternoon.
He was accompanied by NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN-Unified Socialist chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal among many others.
Eight parties, including Maoist Center, Unified Socialist party, Janata Samajbadi Party,and Nepal Samajbadi party, decided to support the NC presidential candidate.
