Unified Socialist Chair Nepal meets PM Dahal at Singha Durbar



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Chairman of CPN Unified Socialist Party Madhav Kumar Nepal held a meeting in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu on Thursday morning.

Prime Minister Prachanda, who is also the chairman of the CPN Maoist Center, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Deputy Prime Minister and senior vice chairman of the Maoist Center, Unified Socialist chair Nepal and leader Ghanashyam Bhusal attended the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s office in Singha Durbar.

According to sources close to Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting was focused on presidential election, current political developments among many others.

As the day for filing nominations for the presidential election is approaching, the parties have intensified political discussions lately.

Nepali Congress leaders along with President Sher Bahadur Deuba had a discussion with the Prime Minister at Baluwatar on Wednesday evening.

The parties have intensified the discussion to revive the five-party alliance during the presidential election.
