KATHMANDU: The suspension on Nagarik Unmukti Party lawmaker Arun Kumar Chaudhary has been removed.
Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire read out a letter from the Office of the President informing that President Bidya Devi Bhandari has pardoned lawmaker Chaudhary of his remaining prison term on the occasion of National Democracy Day.
Chaudhary was convicted and jailed for his involvement in setting a tractor on fire during a protest movement.
