KATHMANDU: The Election Commission has called for the registration of political parties for the by-elections to be held on April 23.
Issuing a notice on Saturday, EC urged all political parties interested to take part in the by-elections to be held in Chitwan-2.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had nullified the then member of the House of Representatives of Chitwan-2, Rabi Lamichhane after finding him registering at the Election Commission without meeting the due criteria.
According to EC, the parties willing to take part in the by-election should register from 22 February to 28 February.
