KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has witnessed a double-digit decline on Wednesday. The stock market, which decreased by 13.90 points, stopped at 2091.56 points today.
This is a decline of 0.66 percent. The day saw the transaction of 48 lakh 15 thousand 120 shares worth 1.73 billion rupees.
On Wednesday, all sub-indices except production and processing went down. Investors from the hotel and tourism sub-group had to bear the biggest loss.
The price of Unilever Nepal Limited increased the most by 8.54 percent. Its price has reached 22 thousand rupees. The prices of companies including Barahi Hydro, Corporate Development Bank, Valley Hydro and others also increased today.
The price of Garima debenture decreased the most by 9.97 percent. The prices of many companies including Vijay Microfinance, Mahuli Microfiance, Panchakanyamai Hydro also declined alarmingly.
