KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda reached Balkot, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli’s residence, and held talks on the latest political developments.
The Prime Minister’s Secretariat informed that the two leaders discussed the President’s elections, Rastriya Swatantra Party’s decision to quit the government, among other issues.
They also discussed matters such as giving full shape to the Council of Ministers and the presidential election.
Prime Minister Dahal has been insisting on electing the country’s President on the basis of national consensus while UML Chairman Oli has said the President should be from the CPN-UML according to the previous agreement.
