RSP holding “decisive” meeting today

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a joint meeting to decide whether it should accept Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s proposal to take charge of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure instead of the Ministry of Home Affairs or quit the government.

A meeting of the party’s Central Committee and Parliamentary Party held last night ended conclusively as the party could not make a decision on the issue.

Prime Minister Dahal had on Saturday evening proposed to RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane to take charge of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure instead of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The RSP has 20 Members of Parliament in the House of Representatives.
