RSP won’t withdraw support to government: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has expressed his belief that the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) will not withdraw its support to the government.

PM Dahal, who is also the Chairman of the ruling Maoist Center, said, “I am confident that RSP will not withdraw its support to the government.”

He was responding to a journalist’s query about the future of the coalition government if RSP withdrew its support.

A meeting of the central committee and the parliamentary party of the RSP has warned that it will quit the government if it did not get the Ministry of Home Affairs as agreed earlier.
