Gold price sets new record; traded at 107,500 per tola today



KATHMANDU: Gold price increased by Rs 1,200 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday.

It is being traded at Rs 107,500 today.

The price of the yellow metal was traded at Rs 106,300 on Wednesday per tola (11.66 grams), according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association.

Likewise, the price of worked gold is Rs 107,000 today.

Similarly, silver is being traded at Rs 1,395 per tola.

According to Federation Chair Manik Ratna Shakya, the prices of gold and silver have soared in the Nepali market due to the rise in the international market.

Prices of gold and silver are determined on the basis of international market prices.
