RPP holding meeting of Central Executive Committee

KATHMANDU: The ruling Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is holding a meeting of its central working committee meeting today.

RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha said that the meeting to be held at the Central Office, Dhumbarahi on Thursday afternoon will discuss the current political situation, the upcoming programs of the party and the upcoming Central Working Committee meeting.

The RPP has called the meeting amid confusion about who will be appointed the Home Minister.

The RPP has maintained silence on the issue so far.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is yet to appoint the Home Minister after the Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, had to quit the post following the Supreme Court’s decision on his citizenship.
