Government appoints Gyawali, Shakya and Mahat as NPC members



KATHMANDU: The government on Monday appointed three members to the National Planning Commission (NPC).

Government Spokesperson Rekha Sharma said that a meeting of the cabinet held on Monday decided to appoint Sushil Gyawali, Anjan Shakya and Kushendra Shahi Mahat as NPC members.

Gyawali previously served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Reconstruction Authority.

Shakya is a former ambassador while Mahat worked in the expert group formed by the Karnali State government.
