6 prisoners escape from custody in Dhanusha



DHANUSHA: Six prisoners have escaped from Dhanusha prison last night.

Police said they escaped last night from the detention room of the area police office Mahendranagar.

Dhanusha Police Spokesperson DSP Pradeep Chhetri said that they escaped by breaking the wall of the room between 1 am and 3 am last night.

According to him, two of the fugitives were detained for investigation of firearms, 2 drugs and 2 public crime offenses.

Police have intensified the search operation.
