Nepal sees two new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 21

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded only two new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases one was detected through the RT-PCR method and one through Antigen.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1628 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the cases tested on Monday, 286 were tested through RT-PCR method and 1342 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 21 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
