Govt will get full shape by Sunday evening: PM Dahal



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the government will get a full shape by Sunday evening.

During a discussion with the editors at the Prime Minister’s Residence in Baluwatar on Saturday, Prime Minister Dahal said that the Council of Ministers will be complete by Sunday evening and a full meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held on Monday.

The Prime Minister said that he would hold an all-party meeting of all the parties that gave a vote of confidence to the government on January 18 and try to agree on the national agenda.

“I had a discussion with CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli this morning as well; during the discussion we agreed to give full shape to the Council of Ministers by tomorrow,” Prime Minister Dahal said, adding, “After the Council of Ministers is completed tomorrow, a full meeting will be held on Monday.”

He also added that the ruling alliance would consider Nepali Congress while settling the names for the Speaker and the President.

“When the current coalition was formed, there was no projection about the NC vote of confidence to the government, as we got it lately, we have realized NC should be considered for some role,” the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister Dahal and UML Chairman Oli have intensified a discussion on the completion of the Council of Ministers of late. The two leaders met in Baluwatar this morning as well.
