Nepal sees two new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 21



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of two new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

All the two confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 783 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the cases tested lately, 211 were tested through RT-PCR method and 572 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 21 active cases in the country as three infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
