Parties to finalize Common Minimum Program today



KATHMANDU: The ruling partner parties are finalizing the Common Minimum Program (CMP) of the government on Thursday.

The meeting of the ruling coalition held on Wednesday decided to complete the CMP today.

The parties have decided to bring the government’s CMP focusing on issues related to common citizens, corruption control, people’s livelihood issues and other policy issues.

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane said that the cabinet will be expanded only after the government gets a vote of confidence from the parliament.
